The school uses Schoolcomms for written communication with parents and carers, i.e. texts and emails. This means that we can use the information you have already provided to the school to send emails and text messages, without you having to register yourselves.
A significant advantage of this system is that you can receive texts via an app (School Gateway) which will reduce our costs. SchoolComms will only work with the mobile numbers you have given to the school.
The administrative staff have been checking telephone numbers but we know that some of these are incorrect. Aside from the safety issues – we should always be able to contact you in an emergency – the app will only work with the number you have registered with us.
