The school uses Arbor comms for written communication with parents and carers, i.e. texts and emails. This means that we can use the information you have already provided to the school to send emails and text messages, without you having to register yourselves.
The school does not use Whatsapp to communicate with the Montpelier community and so any messages received via this platform will not originate from the school and will not be an official school communication.
The school publishes its newsletter on a regular basis throughout the year – usually fortnightly on a Friday. This publication includes important messages, dates and other information which we hope will be interesting and useful to our school community. The school is trying to reduce the number of emails and text messages it sends to parents/carers and so it is important to read each newsleter carefully in order not to miss anything important. The most recent newsletters can be found under the ‘Newsletters’ menu at the top of each page of this website.
In September 2025, the school launched the Arbor Parent Portal and App.
In week commencing 22nd September, all current parents/carers of the school received an introductory message from the app, allowing them to login and set up their account.
Some of the advantages of this system are that you can see your child’s Arbor profile, receive important messages from the school, pay for trips and events and book parent consultation meetings (at certain intervals in the year).
If parents/carers experience difficulty with the app they should refer to the Arbor support pages for help in the first instance but, if a problem cannot be solved then the school office will be happy to assist if you email admin@montpelier.ealing.sch.uk
The Parents Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) uses the Classlist platform (https://www.classlist.com/) to notify parents/carers about upcoming fundraising and social opportunities. We encourage all parents/carers to register an account so that they do not miss out on any important opportunities.
