The Parent Teacher Association (PTA)
Our highlight of the year is the PTA Summer Fete (14th June) and we know there is a great deal of activity both in and outside the school during the lead up to the big day. Before the fete, I wanted to express my thanks to all those whose determination helps ensure our children have access to the best possible experiences in school. Whether it is the Isle of Wight, sports and music resources, support for curriculum trips and workshops, Year 6 leavers' gifts and the yearbook, computers or playground equipment, your efforts all contribute to worthwhile activities. The efforts of Class Reps and other parents help to drive PTA events and without their commitment we could not achieve such success. It is important that we have a great turn out on the day and we look forward to seeing everybody there.
At this time of year the fantastic efforts of our parents and carers come together in the form of our Annual PTA Fete. The spirit of cooperation and unity always contributes to an event that is enjoyed by our children and helps raise funds for important educational projects throughout the year. For our year 6 children, this is the start of an exciting half term where they will also be rehearsing for their leavers' production, contributing to the year book, receiving a leavers' gift and preparing to say farewell. Before then, there is much to do!
