eSafety tips

Children and young people often spend an average of 12 hours a week online as it becomes part of their daily routine early on in their lives. That is why it is important to start talking to your children about keeping safe online at an early age.  It is easier to have conversations about online safety little and often, rather than trying to cover everything at once. As your children get older, and technology changes, make sure you keep talking about what they're doing online and how to stay safe. In this edition of the newsletter we welcome and congratulate our new members of the school council. We have included some helpful reminders, particularly for parents who have joined us this term and included some important safety reminders. After a few weeks of focusing upon parking safety I’m delighted to confirm that the situation has improved considerably although our no tolerance approach remains in place. Punctuality has improved in the juniors and this means that school day starts on time for increasing numbers of children. Finally, a reminder that our Twitter account provides some great updates of school life and we do recommend that you take the opportunity to view it whenever you can. https://twitter.com/Montpelier_Sch
