Birthday celebrations

To celebrate your child’s birthday, we highly recommend you take advantage of our school initiative where we encourage parents to buy a book for the class. We will insert a dedication name plate in the front of the book and the class teacher will present it to the class for their library. We kindly request that you do not distribute cakes or sweets to the class at the end of the school day as we have children with strict dietary requirements and some have severe allergies. http://www.imontpelier.com/donate-a-book/

In this edition of the newsletter we welcome and congratulate our new members of the school council. We have included some helpful reminders, particularly for parents who have joined us this term and included some important safety reminders. After a few weeks of focusing upon parking safety I’m delighted to confirm that the situation has improved considerably although our no tolerance approach remains in place. Punctuality has improved in the juniors and this means that school day starts on time for increasing numbers of children. Finally, a reminder that our Twitter account provides some great updates of school life and we do recommend that you take the opportunity to view it whenever you can. https://twitter.com/Montpelier_Sch
