October is walk to school month so we would encourage everyone to walk to school and enjoy the many benefits of this.

In this edition of the newsletter we welcome and congratulate our new members of the school council. We have included some helpful reminders, particularly for parents who have joined us this term and included some important safety reminders. After a few weeks of focusing upon parking safety I’m delighted to confirm that the situation has improved considerably although our no tolerance approach remains in place. Punctuality has improved in the juniors and this means that school day starts on time for increasing numbers of children. Finally, a reminder that our Twitter account provides some great updates of school life and we do recommend that you take the opportunity to view it whenever you can.
