Residential trips

In April our Year 5 pupils visited the Isle of Wight for an educational, active and fun four days. Whether it was archery, aeroball, the sensory trail, Dinosaur Isle or Osborne House the children had a fantastic experience. During the trip a number of tweets were posted on the school website so that parents and carers could follow what was happening. On 19th June, Year 6 will be heading off to the Côte d'Opale on the northern coast of France. Whether they are practising their language skills at the snail farm or problem solving on the beach, I am sure their experience will be as equally rewarding and a great memory of their final term at Montpelier.

For staff, parents and children alike this has been a very busy term. Our children have been completing end of year tests and assessments and we are preparing for new children to start in Reception in September. We are also thinking about our Year 6 children who are preparing to start the next stage of their education at a wide range of high schools. But for this weekend, we are looking forward to the annual PTA Summer Fete with excitement and anticipation.
